BLACKPOOL EASTER HOCKEY FESTIVAL
21st to 24th March 2008

- A well established and very successful 4-day festival in its 57th year.
- Catering for around 60 teams of Men's, Women's and Mixed hockey, at all levels.
- The facilities include 4 astroturf pitches (2 water-filled) and a grass pitch.
- Daytime hockey headquarters in a central marquee, where all the results can be found together with stalls selling hockey sticks, clothing and equipment.
- Daytime social headquarters at Blackpool Cricket Club for food and drinks, adjacent to Stanley Park.
- Competitive but friendly hockey, played in a festival atmosphere.
- More than 25 qualified umpires officiating at the festival.
- Fantastic social programme. On 2 evenings, we take over one of the best nightclubs in Blackpool. Entry is free to festival goers will great drinks promotions.
Blackpool is an excellent location for a Festival, with a wide range of accomodation, with a host of Blackpool attractions like the tower, the 'Big One' roller coaster at the Pleasure Beach, shows, trams (!), restaurants, etc
